Aldwyn Jordan, better known as 'Madman', is one of the unsung heroes of the Steelband Movement.

He spent most of his life training panmen and helped convert Nocturne Fascinators from a 'Pan Round de Neck' to a Conventional band.

He merged two other small bands and entered the Independence festival of 1962; and placed 3rd with his own composition At Noon.

In 1965 he merged Nocturne with the Tunapuna band Fascinators for Panorama. [Now Nocturne Fascinators - 1998]

He obtained a year at the corner of Charlotte and Park Streets(1) and played Blakie's Ko Kie O Ko.

He also, in the 1960s helped to form [Arima] Angel Harps. He tuned pans for quite a number of the Tunapuna bands; as well as Despers, Tripoli, Silver Stars, Tornadoes and also San Juan All Stars.

He also assisted Robert Greenidge and the Headley Brothers.
