SEAN THOMAS Pan Player

   Sean Thomas is one of the young talented players of steelband music. Hailing from Curepe, Sean has taken part in almost all major competitions.

   At the Junior Level, he has played for St Augustine and El Dorado Senior Comprehensive Schools.

   Being a member of Slarlift did not prevent him from playing with Moods.

   His father, Leroy Thomas, is a pan tuner and arranger and has been able to give good direction to his son Sean.

   From the age of eight years, Sean was brought to the Third Dimension panyard at Green Street, Tunapuna.

   Several years [later], the band Third Dimension was changed to Moods and is based at the Community Centre, Southern Main Road, Curepe.

   Sean has now graduated to higher areas of music and is a member of Michael Boothman's Kaisofusion and is considered a jazz pannist.

   The youth of today is certainly taking their place in the world of music, both locally and internationally.

   Sean Thomas, is a pannist for today, but has the future of the instrument in his hands and has inspired all who has listened to his music thus far.
